Each student will complete a portrait exercise(s) with rules. Scan or take photo of the 4 drawings. Compress (zip) the 4 images together in zipped file. Upload the file into the Moodle link for today’s exercise.

Final animation briefing

  1. Create an abstract animation (stop motion) of duration between 20 – 30 seconds.
  2. Save as MP4 video format, with frame size 1280 x 720, 10 frames per second.
  3. Do not use computer graphics and computer animation.
  4. Do not use figurative characters.
  5. No Hello Kitty, Miffy, Mickey Mouse, Frozen, etc.
  6. It is not necessary to include sound track.
  7. Pay attention to motion design, visual rhythm, on screen vs. off screen space, timeline (beginning, climax, resolution).
  8. Exaggeration can be good.
  9. Show us sample drawings, outlines, visual styles on the week after Chinese New Year.
